Multi User Email Program
What's New In MailCOPA 6.01
This version brings many small but significant features in response to feedback from our customers, and from our ever-demanding testing team. We
know that this will further improve the MailCOPA email program.
There have been improvements to some areas of the help file: some pages now feature images with "hot spots" which when clicked produce a popup with information about that area of the image. Where an image has in the top left corner, move the mouse cursor over the image. Where it changes to you have found a hot spot.
Command Line Parameters
Ability to disable PGP support under Preferences PGP.
PGP is now disabled by default on new installations.
Resting the mouse over the From column of the message list gives a popup with the From: address.
This is useful when there is too much information to be easily visible in the information panel between the Messages List and Autoviewer.
A completely new SPAM filtering system.
The white and black lists will
be inherited from any previous version.
Docked integrated view.
The integrated view can no longer be re-sized. It will always fit to the size of the main MailCOPA window.
Ability to automatically create a "TRANSFER TO FOLDER" filter (an 'auto filter').
New Hotkeys
CTRL+L for Logout
CTRL+Z for undelete last message deleted, HTML editor only
CTRL+B for Bold text
CTRL+U for Underlined text
Improved Simple MAPI server.
Received attachments properties.
Support added for retrieving mail from HOTMAIL accounts with some
limitations.
Auto-Update
The ability to forward a message as an attachment.

Autocomplete.
With this feature set in Configure > Preferences > Send, e-mail addresses will be looked up in the address books as you type and will
auto-complete. This option will be on by default for new users.
Search functions added to Address Books.
Support for DSN (RFC 1891) Return Receipts.
See new button on the Compose Editor.
Added ability to switch the autoviewer off on a per-folder basis.
See Folder Properties.
Added ability to Mark Thread Unseen/Seen.
Any messages in this folder with the same subject will be marked unseen.
Support for POP3 connections over SSL
Support for final MX for SMTP mail
Added &TO& (the person to whom the original message was addressed) to the stationery macros, and %%CURSOR%% SUBJECT (place cursor in the subject field) macro commands for stationery.
Dragging of addresses between Address Books.
Internal/external handling of mailto: links.
Add distribution list to an address book.
Bulk forwarding of messages.
Export and Import of Spam Lists
The ability to copy some header details to the clipboard from the Information Panel in the Display Pane.
Ability to use an alternative editor for editing HTML mail
selected from Preferences HTML. Previously only the editor provided by Internet Explorer could be used, but now a separate one is available if you wish. It is faster and more stable, but lacks certain facilities:
-
Create Numbered List
-
Horizontal Rule Insertion
-
Hyperlink Insertion
-
Image Insertion
The ability to import email addresses into mailing lists from CSV files.
MailCOPA 6.01 has new toolbar icons giving MC 6.01 a new look.
