MailCOPA Multi User Email Software - Macro Commands

Top  Previous  Next

This is a set of powerful commands which can be included in Stationery - they should be used with caution and cannot be accessed via the usual Stationery Macros, but must be entered by hand.

They must be typed directly into the stationery template, they cannot be added in the way that ordinary macros can be entered.

Each must be followed by a single space and then the relevant information, and each complete command must be on a separate line. They take the form:

%%COMMAND_NAME%% Data

Example: %%TO%% support@mailcopa.com

Note that these commands will override any settings elsewhere, eg if you set a destination address in a stationery macro, then this will override any address set in Folder Properties.

If you REPLY to a message, the return addresses and subject will be overwritten  by stationery containing these commands.

Commands available:

%%TO%% Sets the TO field eg office@intervations.co.uk

%%CCENTRY%% Sets the CC field eg a.n.other@somewhere.com

%%BCCENTRY%% Sets the BCC field eg yet.an.other@somewhere.com

%%FROM%% Sets the From field overriding any other settings.

%%ADDSIG%% Adds the specified signature at the end of the message

%%SUBJECT%% Adds the specified text to the Subject field of the message

%%ATTACH%% Attaches the specified file to the message eg C:\TEMP\shoot.zip

%%CURSOR%% Places the cursor at the TOP, END or SUBJECT of the message

eg %%CURSOR%% END will place the cursor at the end of the message body.
